Thank you for taking the time check out the Skyline Mountain Marathon. As the home page “hints”, this is not an average marathon. With it’s quad burning course, 4500 ft climbing, and the mind blowing views, this is one race you will never forget. Don’t believe us? Just ask someone who has run it.
The race will be August 17th 2013. Start times will be 6:00 am for the full and 7:30 am for the Half. A shuttles from the finish line to the start line will be provided. Parking will be located at Eden Park. From there the bus will take you to your start line. This way you run to your cars and don’t have to find a way back to the start line.
For 2013, we will again be donating a portion of proceeds to Ogden Nordic to help with their mission of maintaining and improving the winter and summer trails of Ogden Valley. We are grateful for all the good work they do and want to help them keep it up.

Course Description
The Marathon starts at North Fork Park, in Liberty Utah. North Fork Park is located in the shadow of Ben Lomond Peak in Ogden Valley. The Half Marathon, or Half +1 as we like to call it because it is 14.1 miles, will start at the top of the North Ogden Divide.
The marathon course starts with a 6 mile climb up the Ben Lomond trail, to the ridge line where it will connect to the Skyline trail. From there runners will head southeast toward the North Ogden Divide, the start line of the Half. From the North Ogden Divide the course will point uphill again and painful up it is. In a little more that 2.5 mile you will climb 1625 ft. The course follows the Southern Skyline Trail to the Wind Surfer Beach where it will connect to the Pineview trail and follow the shoreline of Beautiful Pineview Reservoir. The finish line will be located in the heart of Eden Utah at the Eden Park.
